I got tired of almost hitting vehicles when braking hard then driving over a bump in the pavement. The feeling was similar to braking on ice. I removed the fuseable link under the hood. I now have awesome braking! Caution: Don't do this unless you are at an advanced level of braking, and other vehicle control dynamics. I rode a Ninja 900 for decades--the front brake does 80-90% of the braking...if you can't bring the tire to howling and then modulate the lever so that it does not lock up, then you need more practice. I was also General Motors test driver and demo team, and Police "offensive" driving training, as well as high-speed training and many laps above 120 mph. I love my new brakes! Also, I'm in AZ and I never see ice or snow...rarely rain!
