Default Need some help!!

Looking to put a lift on my 2005 Dodge Ram 1500 crew cab. I found the lift that i want( Skyjacker 6 in. system) but i am unclear if the rims i need will fit. They say i need a 17 x 9 by 5 inch back space to clear 37 x 12.5 x 17. Will a 17 inch rim even fit on the 2005 Ram. Mine came with the stock 20" rims. So i have no clue if I have over sized brakes. Any help would be greatly helpful. Tring to get this done when I return from Iraq.

Without seeing the truck itself it is hard to say for sure, but from what I was able to find out online, your truck's brake rotors should be approximately 13.25" in diameter. Even with adding some to that figure for caliper clearance, I don't see a problem with 17" rims fitting. Assuming you got your quote for your new rims/tires from a reputable company that knows their stuff, I wouldn't think they would give you a combination that couldn't fit. I would say odds are in your favor that this will work out. Stay safe out there.
