Default shakle lift

i have a 2wd dak with a spring under axel how much longer would i need to fab shakles to give me 2 inches of lift

To give you 2 inches of lift, the shackles have to be 4 inches longer than stock. The shackle only lowers one side of the leaf pack so it only lifts 1/2 the length of the shackle. That being said, shackles that much longer are not a good way to lift any truck.
