Need info on FASS fuel system for Cummins

I was just wondering if any of you Cummins owners have installed the FASS (Fuel/Air Separation System) on the 1998.5 to 2004 Dodge Diesel to get rid of the lift pump problem? I would love to hear any feedback, good or bad, on this system. I know its on the pricy side but looks like a nice upgrade. Maybe I could stop worring about the crappy lift pump ruining my high $$$ injector pump. Thanks.

The shop that I had replace my injector pump put on one of the FASS pumps. It is just the pump and not the whole air separator assy. This was a good fix at lesser cost. In retrospect, I have wished that I put the whole FASS kit on; I'm sure that it would be the better choice in the long run.

Overall, the pump works fine. It is mounted under the bed by the tank. It is a bit noisy, but you can't hear it in the truck. Fuel pressure stays pretty consistent. I guess I'm happy enough with it.
