Rim/ wheel backspacing questions.......

I am putting a Fabtech 3 inch lift on my 00 Dodge Ram 1500 this week, the intallation instructions from Fabtech states "WE RECOMMEND AFTER MARKET WHEELS WITH A MAXIMUM BACKSPACING OF 3 ¾”."
I see on other posts it is recommended no less than 4 or 4.5 inches for back spacing...... I am looking to put 16x8 inch rims with 295 or 305 tires on the truck but am confused as to which backspacing I should run.
Any body running 33 inch tires and if so what backspacing the the wheels are you running?
