OEM Off Road Springs

How much extra lift do the front coil springs from a 2001 1500 4x4 "Off Road" model have? I have the standard coil springs now and have a chance to get the OEM off road springs from a friend. Will they level my truck and
will there be room for 33x12.50x17 tires? Do I need more lift than that?
Also, is there any problem putting 15" wheels on these trucks? I have a set of 15x10 wheels off my jeep wrangler and am considering 33x12.50x15 for the truck if the
17" tires are too expensive.

33's should fit anyways, mine did on my 95 2500. They are 2" taller than the regular ones. You could just put on a 2" coil spacer from tuff country or daystar instead of replacing your coils... There should be no problems with 15" rims but check for clearance from the brakes caliper/ drums.
