Rich Caselli 1950-2008
Just wanted to let you guys know this really was a great day.

The line to get into I5 MX this morning was more than a 1/4 mile long. 700 plus showed up to celebrate and remember Rich. Riders from all over the country came to pay their final respects in a manner that certainly would have put a crooked smile on Rich's face, THEY RODE. In remembering Rich there were tons of stories, tons of good old fashion bench racing and then again some plain old lies.... but all of them had a central theme "it was a hell of a ride". Just before lunch, Kurt took "the holeshot and lead wire to wire" a huge pack of riders for two laps around the circuit before taking the final checkered flag for his Dad.

Days like this are sad but ultimately the remind us how precious life is and how important it is to make something of it. While Rich certainly would have been embarrassed by all the attention today honestly, he shouldn't have been surprised. His efforts have touched so many. Rich was a good man, a good husband and we all can see the legacy he's left us by being a good father. Rest in Peace.
