Default whats wrong

I have a 1993 250 kdx and for some reason the power band wont kick in anyone know y this might be.

can't get full throttle...hmmm....is your throttle opening your carb all the way...is the fuel supply not partialy plugged( starving)..is your main jet clean..(starving)...isyour main jet too big ( flooding)...is your choke fully off (flooding)...did you try a new spk plug (breaking down under load) perhaps it is in your electrical ( stator,primary coils,cdi box ignition coil, wire, cap...) all my be breaking down under higher rpm...oh ya ...is your air filter clean? these are just a couple of things that come to mind...good luck....B

post mark...is your exhaust clean...exhaust pipe not resticted in any way...how about you piston..maybe you don't have the comp to burn the fuel at high rpm...that should give you something to do for awhile...good luck....B

Does your kdx have a power valve? if so it may be stuck in the closed position>
