The TTR-225 is a good bike it has a front disc brake i believe, electric start, and requires a key. The xr 200 is also just as good. the only difference is that the TTR's just came out so it will be hard to find a used for a cheap price. Honda is also very reliable.

try not to compaire the TTR to a XR200. The ttr is a serious play bike and the XR200 is a over grown play bike.

The TTR225 is a serious play bike, that is perfect for trail riding, its just a little bit heavy because of the electric starter.....

If you can start it I'd say the XR250 would be a better more reliable bike.....

One of the things I think is really cool about the TTR 225 is the low seat height. For folks that are vertically challenged, it looks like it could be really fun. It would be awesome to stop and just put "both" feet down.

Actually dude, the heels get stuck in the foot pegs and I just fall over with my feet stuck to the pegs.
