Snapping the Clutch Cable Causes Engine to Shut Off? Hey fellow riders,
I got a 2001 CR 125. Just did some maintenance on it and wanted to take it for a test ride. As soon as I pulled in the clutch lever, the cable snapped and the engine immediately shut off. The bike was in neutral. After this happened, the kickstarter became locked with only a little movement at the top of the stroke. Is this normal? Some kind of safety feature? My friends' bikes still operate without the clutch lever, but they have KX's. Any feedback is appreciated.
Thanks,
Steve |
