| |  WORCS returns to Riverdale, WA
The WORCS series will return to Riverdale Raceway this year.After a early season set back, WORCS has decided to switch locations for Round #5 of the ATV series, Round #3 of the Western Hare Scrambles combined with Round #6 of the Bike series. Riverdale Raceway, located just outside of Toutle, WA is rested in the Washington Cascades surrounded by the beautiful woodland with an exceptional Motocross layout.
"It was very important to get into the trees for the Northern rounds and with a history at this track we knew it will make for a great venue. The motocross track has been relocated and is not composed of the volcanic ash like the old one was. This revamped facility will offer the best of both worlds for WORCS racers and the Western Hare Scrambles series which will be co-sanctioning with the bikes." -Sean Reddish, CEO of WORCS Racing WORCS ATV weekend has been changed to June 5-7, 2009 WORCS Bike weekend will remain the same on June 12-14, 2009

This track was the best - ATVs only did it once in WORCS, two seasons ago. It's a lot of tight trees, logs and roots. Very GNCC. I have no idea if the riders liked it, but it was great for photography! And spectators could wander whereever through the trees and catch lots of action. Better than a 13 mile jaunt across the desert, to only catch an infield glimpse once each lap.
Thumbs up from me! (Not much for hotels or restaurants around though...) Plan a visit to Mt St Helens Visitor's Center, if you are road-tripping it. Pretty amazing, and very close.

| | WORCS Riverdale Results and Video Up!
The racing was awesome. Killer MX infield, great TIGHT trees for the off-road. Rider count was way down though - interesting to see what the Bikes pull this weekend.
