"Kajun Mudfest" mud racing, March 13-15

Here's something a little different for ya!

This was just officially announced, so I wanted to let you know the dates and a few details so you can make plans to participate!!

The "Kajun Mudfest" will be hosted at the Florida Parishes Arena in Amite, Louisiana on the weekend of March 13-15, 2009. Amite is located approx. 1 hour North of New Orleans and approx. 1 1/2 hours South of Jackson, MS. (depending on how you drive!)

This event will feature 2 side-by-side mud racing pits under the covered arena. We will have ATV and truck classes and even plan stuff for the kids so everybody's welcome!

Entry and admission fees will be kept reasonable and the cash prize purses will definitely make your trip worthwhile! This is planned to be an annual event, also.

RV parking spaces are available, with over 30 with power and water. There are acres more to park and use a generator, also. The facility has hot showers, locker rooms, etc, etc - it's top notch!
