WORCS 3525 Scholarship

The 3525 fund was set up to honor the memory of Maxwell Neiderhouser who passed while doing what he loved to do. Max, as he is called by his friends, always exuded life and lived each moment in the moment. It is in this spirit that the Maxwell Neiderhouser (3525) scholarship fund has been established. The program will allow for 5 separate $3,000 scholarships to go to five separate individuals in 2008 from the WORCS Kids Youth Program.

To be eligible for the scholarship you must meet the following criteria:

You must have graduated no earlier than Jan 2008 and or plan to graduate by June 2009. You must be a WORCS racer or direct family member (brother or sister) of WORCS racer.

You must give the following information about yourself. Full Name, Age, Address, Telephone number, photo of yourself. Parent or Guardian’s full names and contact information, current or last school attended and current or future higher education school you wish to attend.

Please be clear about which scholarship you will be applying for.

2- $3,000 scholarships will be awarded to individuals seeking education from a motorcycle/ATV technical school such as MMI or equivalent.

· Maintain a B average in your school or education program and submit proof of the 2007-2008 grades by transcript from you school.

· Submit 750 word easy that includes the following: how sportsmanship plays a role in life and what made you choose the motorcycle/ATV industry. Please tell who the most influential person in your life has been and why.

3- $3,000 scholarships will be awarded to individual seeking education from an accredited 2 or 4 year college.

· Maintain a B average in your school or education program and submit proof of the 2007-2008 grades by transcript from you school.

· Submit 750 word easy that includes the following: how this scholarship will enable you to succeed in your education and how sportsmanship plays a role in life. Please tell of the most influential person in your life has been and why.

Please submit your essays and applications via email to info@worcsracing.com with the subject line saying “3525 scholarship” by July 1st and you will be notified by July 15th of who the 3535 Scholarship winners are. The selections will be made by the Neiderhouser family only and will be final when announced. If no one applies for a particular scholarship then those vacant spots will be awarded to the other type applicants. Scholarship funds will be forwarded on July 15th as well to be available for the 2008 school year.

Thanks to all those that applied. We had over 10 applications for the 5 possible spots. Notifications will go out to you on July 15 and we will post the 3525 fund winners on our web site.

The following 5 winners of the 3525 Scholarship Fund were announced today from Parawon, Ut. This is the home of the Neiderhouser family and they were in charge of the selection process. “There were about 15 applicants to the scholarship fund and the selection process was extremely difficult for our family to make. Each of the applicants are great kids and we hope the best for all of them. Congratulations”. Rebecca Neiderhouser.
Each of the following people will receive a $3,000 check in honor of Maxwell Neiderhouser.
