Hi guys its my first post here on this forum so here goes. I have a 07 Rancher and in auto shift when I drive around slow (like 5mph) it seems to up shift on its own and looses power. If I let off the gas and come to a stop I can here the tranny down shift to first gear again and then I can go. If I just floor it from a stand still and go it seems to upshift just fine until I slow down where it downs shifts to first or second but then up shift if I stay at that slow speed again. It only does this is auto shift, in manual it works fine but it is really annoying. The rancher only has 500 miles on it and has had amsoil 10w-40 ATV oil in it since 100 miles. I am curious if it is the crank angle sensor that people talk about or what. Can anyone help me.
