1988 LT250R No Spark!

My 13 year old son blew the top end on my 1988 LT250R Quadracer. At the time, the quad still had spark. I had the cylinder jug bored and honed. I just put the top end back together and now I don't have spark. The kill switch is on and so is the key...I left these both on during the rebuild (Not intentionally). Any suggestions on what could have changed? I checked the coil wire at the plug cap, and the wiring harness connections at the head under the gas tank. All connections seem good.
